DA hike for local bodies employees in Madhya Pradesh

A decision to grant 3 per cent hike in 6th pay panel scale and 1 per cent in 7th pay panel scale from July 1, 2017 in the DA/Relief to permanent workers and panchayat secretaries of Panchayat and Rural Development and Planned Teaching Cadre of Government employees/pensioners/panchayati raj institutions and local bodies was taken at the State Cabinet meeting here on Sunday. The cash payment of the proposed hike in DA will be made from July 2017.

The Cabinet took the decision to establish Acharya Shankar Cultural Unity Trust to acquaint the common man with the darshan and life of Adi Shankaracharya, one who

reinstated Sanatan ideology by establishing the four maths in the four corners of the country and who is the founder of Adi Acharya Advait Darshan of Indian cultural unity.

The Cabinet has decided to constitute Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Board under Youth Empowerment Mission connecting Employment Board under Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission and Commerce, Industry and Employment Department under Department of Technical Education and Skill Development.

The Chief Minister will be the Chairman of the Board. The Employment Board and Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission currently in operation has been included in the new board.

The Cabinet decided to recruit Saharia, Baiga and Bhariya Special Primitive Tribe candidates to the vacant posts of Scheduled Tribes for the post of Constable (GD) in Police Department.

The counting of the vacant posts in connection with the recruitment will be done in the situation of January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

The counting of the vacant posts of Scheduled Tribe will be done only according to the roster percentage reservation fixed for the unit.

For selection of candidates of Special Scheduled Tribes Sahariya, Baiga and Bhariya on one-third of the vacant posts, the candidate with minimum qualification will be appointed on the post of Constable.
